Central Baptist Church exists to love God, love people, and serve the world. We care about your spiritual life but also about your emotional, mental, and physical well being. Our routine pastoral services will be complemented by a new resource this fall: a licensed clinical professional counselor.
We are glad to welcome Stephani Cave, MA, LCPC. Stephani earned her Master of Arts (MA) degree in Human Development Counseling from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She is Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Stephani has experience counseling individuals, couples, and families on a wide range of presenting issues, such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief/loss, decision-making, anger management, and stress reduction. She has a special interest and passion for reproductive and infertility related counseling issues. Stephani also uses biofeedback training to help her clients reach their goals.

ConnectED PAIRS now has an office at Central Baptist Church.
We offer many different types of counseling including:
• Individual counseling
• Couples/Marriage counseling
• Family counseling
• Third Option Christian Counseling
The Third Option is an on-going group program to build better marriages. It is designed for all married couples, and can be used both as marriage enrichment or crisis intervention. For hurting couples, who see only two options (painful endurance or divorce), The Third Option means reconciliation. The Third Option combines skill-building workshops with sharing from mentor couples and a support group component. It is an ongoing program which emphasizes hope through support and skill building. Participants can join the program at any time.
