Parents

At Central, our hope and goal is to partner with parents in effort to be a blessing to families. Parents are the most important spiritual influence in the lives of their children and we want to walk with you as you love and parent your children. We love teaching and spending time with your children whenever we get the opportunity to and we believe that if the church and family work together we can be a beautiful influence at work in the lives of our young people. In this way we can share God’s love with our children and help them along the journey of discipleship.

As we update the site we’ll be posting links here to areas of the site that will provide you with resources designed to engage and teach your child throughout the week.

We hope to teach our pre-K children that God made them, God loves them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

Our children in Kindergarten through 5th grade  will be learning a monthly virtue that will help them to make wise choices, know that they can trust God no matter what, and reinforce that the value of treating others the way they want to be treated. You can stay up to date on the most recent virtue and find more resources at our virtue page. Another great resource is the Cue Box which we make available to you each month.

Our middle school and high school students are learning three core truths;
1. I am created to pursue an authentic relationship with my Creator.
2. I belong to Jesus Christ and define who I am by what He says.
3. I exist every day to demonstrate God’s love to a broken world.
We use our weekly gathering called Face 2 Face to teach on various topics that help students learn more about these three truths and integrate them into their lives. We encourage you to have weekly conversations with your student about the series we’re working through and we will be providing you with more information to help you know more about what we’re talking about.

We would love any insights or suggestions you have about how we can best walk with you as you parent your children. If you have any questions or need anything, you can email Josh.
