We believe it is important for every follower of Jesus to serve others in every arena of life. Whether at home, at work, at church, or at play, we live lives characterized by serving others. We would encourage you to find ways to serve others and show them Christ’s love wherever you are, whatever you are doing.
Many service projects emerge from our small groups and Sunday school classes, as you get plugged into one of those groups, you will find numerous opportunities to volunteer and serve both inside and outside the church. A few examples include volunteering at Graham Elementary School, singing or playing an instrument in a worship service, joining the Wednesday Night Dinner crew, delivering meals to the Contact Ministries homeless shelter, and the list goes on.
Ministry at Central is grouped into nine areas: Adults, Member Care, Youth, Children, Property, Finance, Worship, Outreach, and Professional Relations. This allows you to plug in and serve where you are gifted and passionate; it allows you to do what God designed and called you to do in His Kingdom.
For more information about volunteering, discovering your gifts, or serving in one of the ministry areas, please talk to your small group leader or Sunday school teacher. You can also contact the church office or simply fill out the form below for more information. Also, if you have an idea for a way we as a church family can be a blessing to Springfield or New Berlin please let us know!
