February Family Virtue: Honor

Our virtue for February is Honor: Letting someone know you see how valuable they really are.

We hope that you’ll join us as we work to help your children grasp the importance of this virtue for their lives. Our Focus Group leaders and Storytellers will use Bible stories and activities each Sunday to teach your children about God. The video and GodTime cards below are helpful tools to help you teach them throughout the week at home! The first Sunday of the month we’ll also have additional Cue Resources available to help!

Couples Valentine Workship

Dear Couples,

Central Baptist Church will be providing a Valentine Getaway Workshop on Saturday, February 18th, in Sherman, IL, led by Matt and Marilyn Stevens of ConnectEdPAIRS.
In order to make this as affordable as possible, the church is offering two options at a special rate.

Option 1: For $50 the couples can participate in a 1/2 day workshop with full breakfast at the Flagg Farmstead Bed and Breakfast, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Option 2: For $100 the couples can make this an overnight getaway. Rooms are available at the Bed and Breakfast the night before, on February 17th, plus the full breakfast and workshop ending at noon on February 18th.

This offer is limited to five couples, and available first to Central Baptist Church through the month of January. If spaces are still available February 1st, they will be offered as a special ministry to the community for the same rate.

Once you have registered you will receive a confirmation and more information about the room reservation if you choose to spend the night.
