Supporting God’s Work through Central
We encourage you to continue your faithful support of Central’s ministry in these days. Offerings can be mailed to Central’s office (501 S. 4th St Springfield, IL 62701) or you can make an online offering here:
America For Christ Offering
Thanks to America for Christ (AFC) Offering contributions, American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) helped support communities in the United States and Puerto Rico distressed by the devastation of COVID-19 last year. We also helped families who lost homes to floods, wildfires and storms, along with children living on the edge because of poverty, and seminarians preparing to devote their lives to sharing the Good News. These are just a few of the ways we minister to those in need; there are many more. You may send a check made out to Central Baptist Church with “AFC” in the memo to the church office or you may give online here.
Graham Christmas Mart
Since 2015, Central Baptist has held the Graham Christmas Mart in Merriam Hall and invited financially-challenged Graham parents to come shop for their children for Christmas. Over 200 children in the community had a good Christmas last year because Graham Christmas Mart. If you would provide a gift this year, our volunteers can shop in early 2021 for the best deals they can find to prepare for next year’s Mart. If you would like to give, make your check payable to CBC with “Graham Christmas Mart” in the memo or go to this link to give online.
